Kinversand reported unknown with the number 02207039732 as Cost trap
Recorded message purporting to be from Amazon, saying that an order costing £450 had been placed and would be dispatched 'Tomorrow", and that I should press "1" to speak to Amazon to cancel the order. I decided to try to keep the phone line open, and after a minute or two I got a recorded (ie fake) number unobtainable tone, replaced by a very loud series of tones of increasing pitches. I turned the speaker volume of my telephone down, and kept the line open for another 6 minutes, in the hope it would cost them a small fortune.
