For a few days I had had a rest from the criminals calling me, the last two before that having informed me by means of a recorded message that my internet connection was about to be disabled.
When this number called today I only got a dialling tone when I answered. Looking up the number on other sites, it showed many people had been bothered in the same way, except one person who said an Asian had told him on a crackling connection that it was about his telephone service - the usual story these people tell, trying to gain confidence so they can infect people's computers.
