Was asked to confirm my telephone number (which they had dialled), who my landline provider was, who my broadband provider was, my name and house number. When I was in the middle of asking why they wanted this information they hung up on me.

Two calls today from this tribe! Told first call that I do not take part in telephone surveys. Second call asked for 20 seconds of my time - told him to use the twenty seconds to delete me from their calling list. He persisted so I said OK - he could have 20 seconds. I then counted out loud from 1 to 20 which meant he did not know what to do and passed the call to a supervisor. when I was at 14 or 15. Supervisor called me "stupid" - But I'm not the one making the nuisance calls !!!

Just had this number call - but I never pick up the phone. Worst thing you can do, as it confirms to the other end yours is a proper phone number which will be sold on to every piece of scum in the known universe. My advice, which works a treat: tell all your real contacts to call you for the first 4 or 5 beeps, then to put the phone down. When you hear it, dial 1471 to see who's called, and you can call back the non-lowlife human beings that you know. When you dial 1471 on a strange number where the call tone has gone on forever, you can then note down the number and Google to see what scum has tried to get you to allow them to waste your time and stress you out to boot. I am finding that a good 95% and more calls are in this category. One day I’m going to live in a world where all such useless lowlifes are sent to a remote planet in outer space and quarantined there.

This number is repeatedly calling me, sometimes no answer. Sometimes Asian voice. Have been on price comparison site recently and it started from then, so beware!

Having calls from this number for the last 2 weeks,ask me to confirm my name & address so I put the phone down. Then they will phone the same times nearly every day and once I've answered the phone they block it for at least 1 minute +

Asian sounding guy, rabbiting at speed about who I was and telling me my details, barely caught a word, then says BT will call to save me money on my Telephone and Broadband, then hung up immediately, never asked was I interested in any possible savings, not even the basic pleasantries of asking how I was etc... Just quick fire rabbit rabbit rabbit, BT will call me, click, all I can say is, if this was anything to do with BT, they are now less likely to be getting my business than they were before.

had two calls today, both silent... yesterday an asian man asked me to confirm my name, address and postcode, then hung up. ican see on here and elsewhere that this particular caller(s) is causing annoyance and anxiety to everyone. i am registered with the TPS, but that doesn't seem to help. something in general really needs to be done regarding these type of calls....

3 calls yesterday and 2 so far today. Asian men, today he said he was phoning me from Future Trends and would only ask me 2 questions. asked if I was Mr ----- I said yes then asked me if the address he gave was mine, I said yes and he went on to ask me further questions. I told him he had already had his 2 questions and was not amused. I had told them yesterday to remove my number but clearly they have not. I am with TPS but this does no good. Who can we complain to? My phone provider will not block single numbers, And I will not pay extra on my bill for caller ID just because of these nuisance callers.

although a firm called computer tech does exist I don't know if tactics have changed and the scammers are using real names. I asked for the postal address he wouldn't give me it and just started computer tech computer tech, so I take it to being a scam

Getting several calls a day from this number which will not respond (number not known) when called back. I have a hardware blocking device which stops unwanted calls from ringing but they show on the call register nonetheless.

This number has been calling my house phone repeatedly throughout the whole day. When i answer and dont say anything they hung up. I answered and they had my surname and asked for 30 seconds to answer some questions.. I said who is calling, they said Future Trends. I said i do not want to take part and they hung up! Idiots
