This man rang up saying they were from HMRC and they had a warrant for my arrest and that I will be jailed in the next 24 hours. HMRC sends letters only and doesn't ring out of the blue.

not gullible replied 2/13/19, 10:09 PMFor God sake grow up. It is a scam. I have also received this call and blocked the number. Trust me if the HMRC think you have committed fraud they won't phone you to warn of your imminent arrest.

Automated voice said I had an arrest warrant out from HRMC and I needed to press 1 to speak to HMRC about it. This is rubbish, it's not how HMRC operates and if they had an arrest warrant out for you it would be the police contacting you, not HMRC on an automated line.
