I had been looking at getting a loan as I am moving house and would like to furnish the place. They called and offered me a loan, as I have bad credit they requested the first payment upfront, which I paid. They then rang me and requested a further £229 from me as 'HMRC tax' which would be refunded with my loand. I found this so unbelievable so I questioned it and they were rude about the situation saying I obviously didn't want the loan as I had changed my mind about the amount and duration. I am still awaiting my refund. Avoid at all costs!
