This person called me, whom could barely speak, said from what I could make out, was from sky protection, I hung after the first 30 seconds.

I was called today, where the man said he was from Sky & said that they were looking to reduce our Sky protection payment they said we paid, due to the fact that we had been loyal customers for several years and as we hadn't made a claim, they wished to halve the yearly payment to £50.00. He then promptly asked for my bank details to be able to amend the payments. As you can imagine I wasn't very obliging! Dodgy!!!

Pretending to be Sky, then pretending to be a Sky partner. On querying where they got the information that I have SKY they waffled incorrect answers about the Office of the Information Commissioner (ICO) and data protection. They get their data from Indian companies doing (ha ha, market research). By the way, I do not have Sky, I never had Sky.
