    Darren Palmer xcel, they have now moved to swansea the cold calling capital of wales. AVOID this company they will do nothing but take your money and run. SCAMMERS, ive contacted Watchdog, Xra, Trading STandards and the papers to get this company investigated.

    They rang to see if we were eligible for a claim for faulty cavity wall insulation. As we have solid stone walls this is unlikely, but why don't TPS stop these people?

    MD Steven Mark Davis seems to have at least 19 company appointments
    based where? yup Swansea the Mecca of call centres.
    His home address is available at companies house on-line (free)

    Asked if we had a gas boiler & was it over 7 years old. I got them to confirm that we had not asked to be contacted, said that we were TPS registered and that they were breaking the law. Was told that they would remove our number from their list (of course, they should have checked before disturbing us.)

    Called about my gas boiler and I said we are on TPS and hung up. If TPS worked I would not have been interrupted totally unnecessarily.
    They (xcel energy cardiff) have been reported previously to TPS and ICO with no apparent effect.
