This company is very aggressive and uses several tactics purporting to be an energy supplier or meter registration dept. They are energy consultants without qualms and trying to scare end users into agreeing a contract over the phone by saying that they are on extortionate out of contract rates, etc.
Best way to deal with these people is to say you have signed a long-term contract and therefore not interested in their services. Do not give them another date to contact you.

Called saying from Electricity meter board asking for our meter serial numbers. Vague about company name. I ignored. They called twice again I said I thought it was a scam, he said no, look on our website. Gave out a credible website energy-uk - I rang their number on website (not the number he gave me to call him back on) and asked if they use the 0344 number - they NEVER make outgoing calls and she said this scam had been around for a couple of years and had been reported
