This number has rung my elderly mother claiming that she has one £50,000 and all she needed to do was transfer £400 into an account. Instantly, we knew this was a fraud. Yet they were willing to send a taxi round to my disabled mother to take her to the bank to deposit this money. SCAM

Fraud fraud fraud. Do not call back on this number or give any details. My elderly parents received a call this morning. Lucky I was around and he claimed he was calling from virgin media in London. I then asked if he knew English and he said no. From here I released something ain't right. I immediately googled the number he gave and read the previous comment. If u are called do not take this seriously.

had a phone call from a asain guy speaking urdu, say that i had won £50 000, and all i had to do was to him £275 to claim it. Scammer, told him to where to go. Be aware. this was the number he left to call him on..its a premuim rate number so do not call it.

SCAM / FRAUD WARNING: These people called me today speaking in Urdu / Punjabi. They said they are calling from London and that I had won a prize of £50,000. This money will be transferred into my bank account directly. In order for them to transfer the winnings to my account I must first pay them a transfer/handling fee of £575 through Weston Union, so they can transfer the money to my account. When I asked the caller for the full UK address and details they hung up.
I contacted Weston Union Fraud Department to notify them that these people are using their system to transfer money. I was advised by Weston Union that the money can be taken out in minutes after transaction by the recipient and Weston union cannot do anything for you to get your money back “as you sent the money to them”.
SO PLEASE DON’T SEND MONEY TO ANYONE LIKE THIS IN ANY WAY. ALL SCAMS
