Call me suspicious but.. reported number 07040901466 as Unknown - claims to be Motor Insurance Bureau
Someone using this number called several times eventually getting through to me. He sounded as though he was abroad, couldn't say my last name and asked if I remembered having an accident two years ago as he could help me get compensation. I asked why he would be interested in getting compensation for me and told me he was the Motor Insurer Bureau and that was what they did. I told him I was a solicitor (which I am) and I knew what the MIB did and he didn't sound like he was calling from there. He then told me that he wasn't actually calling from the MIB but from a firm of solicitors working with the MIB to help people obtain compensation. I reminded him I was a lawyer and asked for his firm's name so I verify it on the Law Society website at which point he put the phone down.
