    Wow what a lovely coincidence I was picked to just be given $100 in crypto. No catch.

    Yeah, no. This is the most basic scam ever. Asked for the company twice and they never said it. They also claimed to be FCA certified which is a complete lie that can be fact checked easily.

    Claimed to be a company called GMX Trading offering a cryptocurrency £100 giveaway, to encourage me to use their trading platform for a 5 day trial. Requested personal info so she could "connect me to their broker". Quite persistent when I said I wasn't interested, but not rude.

    Claiming to be a financial company. I asked them where they got my phone number from, and they said that I must have replied to a social media ad. I told them I didn't. When I asked them to spell their company name and to spell her name, she hung up.
