    It's an automatic reminder of clinic appointments, 7 days before they're due. I get similar thing from my dentist. You can reply with STOP to opt out but I don't think it's a bad idea - my appointments are months apart.

    I'm not receiving treatment from the LGI or Jimmys so know this is a scam but Outpatients may not realise

    apparently it is genuine although it's hard to understand why the NHS wouldn't publicize what it was doing well before they did.

    It isn't a scam - what you've received is notification of the new service and an opportunity to cancel it if you object. If you accept it (by not responding) and you have any appointments from now on, you will receive the timely reminder message a week before your appointment.
