Called twice today, First call I cancelled. 2nd I answered said they were fron British Gas/Scottish Gas. When they asked which company I was with I asked why they needed that information they said they were doing research. I told them i gave no private or personal information to cold callers. Also told them cold calling was illegal and I would be reporting them. Hung up before they answered.

Received a call from this number yesterday regarding PPI claims, and the guy started the conversation by saying he was sending me all the paperwork. Quite a shocking way of asking someone if they'd like to claim for PPI.
I received another call from this number today and this time it was a lady from British Gas, asking to check if they had the right information for me on their system. I'm not with British Gas and said I didn't want to share any information with them, she then replied saying that I'm wasting her time and hung up.
Complete joke. My advice is stay away. -

I was called at 9:30am on 14/08. A man started talking but because it sounded busy in the background I could not understand what he was saying, I asked “who do you wish to speak to as I think you have the wrong number” and he just hung up - very strange!!
I don’t normally answer unknown numbers but because this was a UK mobile number I did in case it was just someone who’s number I had not saved (someone from work, for example)
