Said I had been awarded £2200 from a PPI claim and I had to call a 0161 number and then another 0161 number and then someone would bring me the cash. She was Indian/pakistani/whatever they all sound the same when they are reading off a script.

Brilliant... PPI scammer, couldn't have been more obvious or less bothered about sounding genuine. When I asked for the company (just for a laugh, I knew from word one) he told me to search for "PPI Advisory Group," then said he worked for the company that was top of the search results.
Didn't want to give a name, then when pushed went for "Jack Dawson". Unusual choice of name on the subcontinent, but then again I could just be a bad judge of accents.
I could hear the sound of him dying inside when I asked if that was Jack Dawson like in Titanic.
