The caller introduced himself as being from the Government Database, then started asking me about an accident my wife was allegedly involved in, saying they monitored insurance companies to ensure people were treated fairly. I asked for clarification on who he represented, and he repeated "The Government Database" and then carried on talking about accidents. I then interrupted him and asked if he represented the Government of the United Kingdom, and he responded "No, Uganda" and hung up on me.

Called asking about a car accident I'd had. Knew my name and address but had no further details. Said he "sort of" worked for the government to check if insurance companies were handling claims correctly.

Called about an accident id had (news to me!), told him he was talking bollocks and to fuck off. Number blocked.

called asking if they could help me claim miss sold insurance back for me and ppi just told them I've already done it and don't need their help, whether or not that will stop them calling I don't know, so will probably just block the number
