Buy a call blocker and no-one will pester you any more. It's well worth the money spent to stop this carry on.

Very True!
I had a call from these people - " A Short Survey!".
Told them my number was ex-directory and registered with TPS. But they were persistent.
A short burst of Anglo Saxon from me, then I put the phone down.
Got a Call Blocker the next day. What a difference!
Well worth the money.

Did exactly that, from www dot truecall dot co dot uk. Cost around £100(UK), but has already stopped this company dead in its tracks from bothering me. I see the calls on a call log, which I can view from the net, but none of these calls have gotten through, for some time. (Incidentally, this company called 4 times today. It seems if they dont get through, they call even more, till they do. (Its their money they are wasting, so happy to let them oblige.

Best thing I have done brought a BT call blocker, its great no more calls, as they come in I just block them, wish I had done it years ago, didn't cost much

This number is ringing me at least twice a day, as I work unsocial hours they have twice woken me up, including this morning and yesterday. The first time I answered it my dinner was on the boil so I said it was not convenient. How I wish I had never answered it at all!

According to other forums, this is a market research company employed by your bank, who have been given YOUR phone number, without YOUR permission to a market research company, who are told NOT to reveal to you exactly who they are working for.

This is despite the fact I have asked my bank literally dozens of times to remove my ex-directory phone number from their records and to NEVER call me, and yet I have had two calls from this number in just the last couple of hours. And, as it is claimed to be a survey, there is absolutely nothing the Telephone Preference Service can do, and these people can pester you as many times a day as they like, between 8a and 10pm, seven days a week, including bank holidays.

I find it unlikely that it's related to the bank- my fiance was called by this number but hasn't given the bank his mobile number.

A guy claiming to be, but NOT sounding, English. Asked for our bank details.

When told to piss off, he hung up!

The ICO wesbite diverted me to the police on Action For Fraud, but that site did NOT ask for their number! Complete waste of time.
