This number is a legitimate business - Home Shield Direct. They sell insurance for various white goods. I have cooker, washing machine and fridge/freezer covered. Had them out to fix all three appliances at various times and service was excellent. So absolutely NOT a scam.

Called my elderly mum lying to her saying her washing machine insurance with D&G was ending. NOT ENDING! Spoke about a direct debit and then tried taking a one off payment from her?!?! From my knowledge in working in contact centres/sales I told her to stop the call and to do some research. SCAMMERS trying to rip off anyone they can. Pushy sales, can't even imagine what the service is like once you've actually signed up!

Told me that on 'my personal file', my LG washing machine was coming out of warranty, etc etc. I don't have an LG, our washing machine, inherited from a previous houseowner and 25 yrs old, battles on w/o payments to Home Shield!! When I told 'Jordan' I thought this was a scam, he wanted to know why. Well he would, wouldn't he?! -

Home Shield Direct has been reported with number 08000236178 as Cost trap
Same as previous messages saying my washing machine is out of warranty need to pay now so they can fix it.. absolute scam. Do not set a direct debit with them or make a one off payment. I'm pretty sure the trustworthy reports are from them it is definitely a scam!
