As usual I didn't answer but after reading comments about payday loans I wonder if the company may be linked to www.credit-xpress.com as I received a text from them 39 mins after I blanked the call.
At the end of the text (where you get opt out info) it says 'www.credit-xpress.com - o-t.me to stop'
Never text to stop texts anyway but I doubt that'd work.

just to let you know, these are not scammers, they are one of thousands of companies wanting to lend pay day loans, all you have to do is input your email address or phone number in to ANYthing and that info is sold to these companies, you may have even clicked on a credit card or mortgage etc and you'll get calls like this, I'm not saying these calls aren't annoying (as I know they damn well are annoying) but I simply just say please take my number off your list, thats all you can do

Guy rang me and introduced himself as 'Robert'. He had a Welsh accent. He then asked me to confirm my name. I said yes and then the connection dropped.

I had been waiting for a call from someone, so expected that they were the people who were ringing. I expected that, after the call had cut off, they would naturally re-call if they wanted to speak to me. They didn't call me back. Having read the comments on here it's no surprise!

A woman with a heavy asian accent asked "am I speaking to xxxx" but she got my name slightly wrong so I replied 'No'. I could barely make out the company she represented and when I asked again she said she was calling with regard to my company loan. At this point I told her she had the wrong number. Her accent was incredibly strong and almost impossible to make out what she was saying so even if this was a genuine marketing call I would have hung up.

Got a call from this number who hung up when I confirmed my name. Then coincidentally I received a tonne of spam emails from various loan companies- referencing some of the information people above have said about a payday loan company.
