   A guy named Shaun, claiming to be from the Accident Helpline, called about a car accident. I played along, then after several minutes, revealed I was describing an incident on the dodgems at a funfair in Essex. He thanked me for wasting his time, then got abusive. I laughed and told him to get a proper job. It's the only way to deal with this sort of nuisance.

   Shawn from accident helpline, play them along, tell them your going to get the details. Put them on mute and carry on what your doing. Fair play for his patience, he hung up after about 15mins!

   March 28th 2016
   I had a call from this number regarding a car accident, I told the Asian man that I had claimed and received compensation and that I did not need any of his services. He then asked me how much money I received, so I told him that was none of his business, he then started saying that he was my husband from a past life, I was so shocked I asked him to repeat what he'd said, he repeated I !!! I told him to bugger off. I was so upset that I reported this to the Police and I was actually visited by a police woman.

   A few monthe ago I had mylap top hacked by a supposed 'microsoft' backed co. I managed to get it sorted but ever since have been having phone calls from this supposed IT co.
   The latest was on this number - very different from all the other messages on this site - but again always male Asian voices with very British names.

   This number rang just as I was about to have my lunch. It was "Dave" from Windows so I cut him off. Immediately he rang again so again I cut him off. He rang a third time and I told him that I had cut him off twice and there was nothing wrong with my Computer and told him to stop ringing me. I cut him off again.

   We are a company, not a domestic, why should these scammers be calling a company? I told them no thanks and hung up. nuisance callers, they could be keeping our line busy whilst real customers ring us!

   Left no message on answer machine - hung up which left it bleeping for ages
   I AM EX DIRECTORY and registerred with TPS and MPS - They are breaking the law fines of upto £5,000 for these people

    I am ex-directory and am also registered with the telephone preference service, yet I had two missed calls on my caller display from this number today. When I rang back to see who it was, I got a recorded message saying "you have dialled an incorrect number. Please check the number and redial." Obviously an untraceable number. As I have caller display on my landline, if I get calls from numbers I do not recognise, I do not answer the phone. Sooner or later, these sad individuals will get tried and stop ringing altogether. The best thing is if others had caller display also, if you get calls from numbers you don't recognise, don't answer the phone.

    This caller was telling me I had an accident then said family he called me a paki I told him he was breaking the law and I would report him he then phoned again number was international outrageous behaviour

    When I refused to confirm if anybody in the household had been involved in an accident the man told me his dick was stuck in his zip and could I help him.
    I tested the smoke alarm down the phone line and he swore and hung up.

    Rang for a long time. Foreign female with heavy accent said something about accident helpline how are you. I said I'm fine thank you and haven't had an accident and hung up. She didn't call back.

    I'm ex-directory and I have just had my home phone installed. Not impressed I'm getting calls from foreign people at all hours regarding an accident that I never had... keep answering now and telling them to F*** off.
