I received a call from a woman named Georgia representing TRC suggesting a link with BT and promising to stop all cold calls, with held, international calls etc.She stated a cost of 55p per week and said a box would be sent in the next couple of days. She went on to ask for a payment of £84.99 for a period of 3 years or two payments if I preferred. At this point I declined her offer believing it to be a scam.Please do not be taken in by this, it all sounded quite plausible!

Iwas approached by phone 0n Sep 9th by a gentleman who gave me the impression he was in association with BT. He was ringing to offer a system to stop unwanted and cold calls. After some discussion i was stupid enough to part with £45(a down payment for there services) I was told euipment would arrive by post in 2/3 days but nothing did. I rang 08002707984 and was answered by a firm calling themselves TCR Ltd. They told me I must have mis-heard as it would be 10/14 days before i got my goods. I then could accept them or return them and get my money re-funded.Three weeks later still no goods so I rang again and said i wanted to cancell the agreement. They agreed and promised to re-fund my money but it is now a week and the money ( paid on a VISA credit card ) has not appeared. I contacted VISA Dispute Dept who have agreed to take steps to recover my money.In the meantime they have put a block on TCR taking any more money from my card. The strange thing is that on checking my Bank details it appears that the money was taken by TCRLTD but the phone number given is a private phone number with no name or other details, but it has been recorded as a phone number against which a number of complaints about scams have been made. TCR is obviously one name of a big SCAM group - beware!!
