I work in NHS. This is a number used by many different NHS regions and departments. If they do not leave a message is because they can't be sure they have the correct number and that you are the person they need to speak to about a health matter, they shouldn't leave personal health information on a voicemail.

I received a call from this number today on my mobile. When I got ho me my husband told me that he had spoken to someone from our local hospital who wanted to speak to me. Well, hard luck, because I have a Call Bloocker app, and it is set so that only those in my contacts list can get through to me! I occasionally leave it off if am expecting a call from someone who is not in my contacts list, but otherwise, it is on at all times. No more unsolicited calls, thankfully!

I received three calls from this number at 05:55, 05:59 and 06:07. Luckily my phone was on night hours at that time so didn't manage to pick them up. What a stupid time to call

This was to arrange the date for my daycare procedure.
Absolutely nothing negative about the call. I know exactly who the lady was I had dealt with her regarding previous treatments.
the number doesn't accept incoming calls because you need to go via the switch board in your local hospital to speak to anyone in the hospital.

I'm glad I always check this site when I receive a cold call because having checked this number I then checked my voicemail and found it was to offer me a hospital appointment. This was for FVRH at Larbert so it must be NHS Scotland for outgoing calls as the receptionist left me the local dial direct number to reply

I received a call on my mobile from this number earlier today. I have a Call Blocker app on at all times, so the caller had no chance of getting through to me. When I got home, my husband told me that Patient Relations at Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy had phoned me at home, and as I was out at the time, they would try to catch me on my mobile. No chance, my phone is for MY convenience, and I choose who I want to receive calls from! Only those in my contacts list can get through to speak to me, every other type of call is blocked. At home, I screen ALL calls,so anyone who wants to do all to me must leave a message on my answering machine. Sure puts paid to all the nuisance calls I used to receive, and stops me from swearing at the caller, LOL!

I didn't answer this number when it called as I thought it was just another cold call. But it called again a few seconds later, still didn't answer it but it left a message in voicemail.Turns out it was from my local NHS hospital re an appointment information. This number must be a general one NHS uses.

Bit annoying though as it is a 0800 number, they phoned twice within 15 minutes and left no message!!! when tried to ring back no clue who it was and not able to leave message! this is an extremely poor service and just makes people worry needlessly........sort out please NHS ...at least leave a message or some clue that this number remotely belongs to you!!!!

I AM CONSTANTLY GETING CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER AND MESSAGES LEFT FOR A LADY CALLED DENISE - APPARENTLY SHE HAS BEEN GIVING OUT MY MOBILE NUMBER BY MISTAKE SO NHS USERS CALL ME. OFTEN MESSAGES RELATE TO REFERRALS / APPOINTMENTS AND I CANNOT DO ANYTHING TO GET THE INFO TO THE CORRECT PERSON AS I HAVE NO PROPER CONTACT INFO. This number rang my home number and mobile number 2 minutes apart. When I answered the home phone there was no one there. When I called the number back there was a msg saying this number doesn't accept incoming calls. Cheek, they can annoy me but I can't annoy them.
