Received a text from Barclays saying there has been a fraud on the accounts and to call this number, when I rang they asked for details, I requested them to put in writing to me which I would then take to local branch, at which point the guy started swearing. What an Idiot!

its a scam don't reply, they want you to ring the bank because someone has tried to take funds out your account of £1500. report to bank soon as possible if you give any details out so they can block your account. Don't give out any personal information out.

SCAM - sends text asking did you request a bank transfer of £1500. asks you to call and have your pin and pincard details ready. total fraud. Do not call them, report it to your bank. remember your bank will not ask u for pin information over the phone ever.

SCAM. Just by "chance" the text came through the day after I had been trying to transfer large sums of money out of my account. NEVER disclose any details unless you call your bank.
