my husband had 9 calls from this number and we have just received a bill from Orange/EE for £265.00 we are being charged for that number calling us my husband did not answer those calls or make them i am being charged for text mes. which should have been free as that was my contract, my contract ends at end of month not saying number is anything to do with Orange or ee but i do wonder, i have told them i will not be renewing contract guess what my husband has just had another two calls is it a coincidence who knows by the way we only text and odd call to other orange phone never had a bill as high as that ever we are 70 and 76 yrs old

This is a third party agent which EE/Orange gets to do their dirty work. I don't trust them as it was extremely odd they closed down their inbound call team. The suspicion is that they changed inbound to telemarketing crap! Orange is dim, EE is not the future!

As above this number came up on my mobile for a couple of rings then stopped - it will be a scam to get you to call the premium rate number back for which you will be charged - I think it is very unlikely to be EE as mentioned above. Try not to enter your phone number on any online forms and block the number if you can.

Exactly the same as above. Rang twice and stopped. Clever people have "wised up" to these nuisance calls but, shame on all the companies who use this method because it's more likely to be the most vulnerable people who get caught out. Often these are the folk who can least afford to ring premium numbers. Disgraceful behaviour.

My husband had a missed call from this number and when we rung it back an automated voice came on asking if we had an oil burning boiler....gives the option to be removed from the list but when u choose that option it repeats the same spiel it gave when it first answered

It rings once and stops. Its designed for the user to call back and its a premium rate number. I think its ee. I get called every day by this. I'm out of contract and o2 is starting to look better every day. Like a previous comment states DO NOT CALL BACK.

This number called my mobile at 8.07am, rang off quickly so didn't answer. Just read that this number is a VIRTUAL UK non-geographic number which earn you a share of revenue from calls that you receive. If this is EE then they are filthy scum.

Like others have said, this number called and hung up almost immediately, before I could pick up. I never ring any numbers I don't recognise without Googling it first to see if it's genuine, so all of you lovely people have saved me from making a big mistake. :) I've put a block on it on my phone and would advise others to do the same if their phone allows this.
