Calls from 084398001.. come about every fortnight, usually with a different last two digits to perplex my phone's spam caller software. It's just frequent enough that I recognise the number and reject the call, without being so frequent as to be called harassment. Don't know what they want as I never answer to phone any more, but they've never left me a message!

Slumped in armchair listening to Chancellor's statement, I was interrupted by this intrusion. The number was new but the recorded message the same - the sometimes daily one saying they had been trying to contact me. I do not listen to recorded messages so hung up. I missed the rest of the Chancellor's speech. My user name should be Grumpy - not the one I have somehow acquired.
