Just been called by 08439800143. Apparently a company called Money Help marketing. A spam company. Ijust reported it to the ICO which took 2 minutes. It's Christmas time, odd phone numbers calling you = Scammers time of the year for joys and frolics to rip off whoever they can!
Like the lotto advert says, "don't let it be them who win".
Imo, Telemarketing should be made illegal in the UK!

Keep calling me and tell they are calling about compensation for a car accident i had.
I have never had a car accident - nor do i have a car. I have already told them to remove me from their systems but they still keep calling me every few weeks. Calls started back this summer. Will report this to the police if the calls do not stop - and so should you! -

They want to help you claim compensation on delayed flights. If you ring the number back they give you option to have your number removed by pressing 9. They also didn't leave a message. I don't think they have my number instead I have a car listed on Auto trader and can only imagine they tried ringing the number displayed on the ad.

I have been getting calls from this number and I blocked them on iPhone. Then they call from another number.
It's the same people selling insurance or saying you had accident!!
They never leave messages, can't call the number back as there is no ring and no one picks up!
It's a scam number run by scam group.
I am very annoyed because they used my name when they spoke to me. How did they know my full name??

Persistent nuisance calling saying you have insurance that needs upgrade or that they have heard you had a vehicle accident and want details of insurance etc of nonsense.
I don't have insurance with them nor do I suspect dies anyone else.
No sooner you block a one number they use than another replaces it.

I got a call from this number at 09.30am today. I didn't answer it, no message was left.
It is very similar to a few other numbers starting with 0843 980...that I have blocked, so I blocked this one.
Fortunately my phone, a Samsung Galaxy, allows me to block all calls starting with whatever digits I want, so I have now blocked all numbers starting with 0843 980.Bonkers replied 12/3/15, 9:58 AMI received a phone call from this number at 9.30am. I also didn't answer the number, however I used my office landline to call back to check. The number doesn't go through and doesn't ring. I suspect someone has set up a dialer. Use Avast app (free) to block this number.
