This is a Parcelforce number simply to let you know that a parcel is being delivered. No Mystery, No Spam, just a company trying to be efficient. It's a shame they don't let you know the day before with an option to reschedule as it always seems to be on a day when there is no one available to accept delivery.

I am getting a spate of calls from this number and also 0800 5875290. I don't bother asnswering them as I suspect they are spam. Surely there must be something that can be done to stop people being harrassed in their own homes?

selling meat?? After listening to SMS on land line option to block this number. Hope this is the end of it as they have called several times before

well I keep getting text messages sent to my phone.
very frequent, they were 'selling' chicken meat now they are apparently selling mince meat. -
Seems to be a general scammer from a boiler room and each call a different theme and scam just to perhaps try and rob you.

I had a message left from this number and it said it was from Ryanair. The message said "one or more of your party has not checked in for Ryanair flight". I haven't even booked tickets, so I don't know where Ryanair got my phone number from! But if Ryanair want to give me free flights tickets I'll take them lol.

Could be Parcel Force as I have had a package delivered by them today at 12 noon. Problem is phone calls started AFTER parcel was delivered and have continued through afternoon and tonight. I shall unplug landline before I go to bed - bloody annoying nuisance

I have no parcels etc that I'm expecting so not sure why got a call from this number and I am exdirectory

Also 0800 5875290. It's an automated messing service. We had a message from the local dentist saying we had an upcoming appointment. In our case it was genuine. We've had such messages before. However, the company sending the messages doesn't seem to be choosy about who else pays them. Call wasn't wanted or needed.

We are ex-directory and registered with TPS. This number called us at 7.15 a.m today, 7.45a.m and then continually throughout the day.mwe have had to disconnect our land line because of them . They should be sued. We are disgusted by this harassment.

The system PF employs does not work properly and is wide open to abuse. Landlines have problems accepting SMS messages especially if they are long and you have an answer-machine. Now I don't even know if a parcel I wanted off a site is going to be lost, and it's all your fault.

Received 3 calls from 0844-3585862 over 4 days. Each time the line is dead - just the "number engaged" sound for about 4 seconds then line goes dead

Concur with Simon. I just called ParcelForce on 0344 800 5550 and they did confirm its from their range. Apparentl msg is confidential hence it asks you to press 1 or 2. Though what I have from ParcelForce is another thing altogethr!

This is ParcelForce automated SMS service notifying you of a parcel delivery.
It should say which company has sent the parcel as well.Parcel replied 2016-02-10 14:17:00It only said it was a sms messaging service but when I phoned back it said it doesn't recognise number and hung up. It rang me four times now. -
sms recorded message - have to press a key to get full message. they do not tell you who the message is from so I must consider it as SPAM

Garbled message coming from international call about defra and avian flu in lankenshire very suspicious.

Outrageous. called at 721am New Yrs Day. It was a message saying "Happy New Yr" which my wife answered. Its clearly a premium rate number - goodness knows if there is a charge to answer!!???
If this phone number keeps calling you, the answer should be yes!
