I also bought these spacesaver bags and was consequently charged 99.99 by free time holidays.I contacted TSB fraud dept straight away and they refunded the money within ten minutes I never recieved a brochure or a phone call.Surely something should be done by somebody to stop these awful people.

How they got my details i do not know and i am waiting a phone call from Space Systems as to how this holiday company(?)got details i provided to them as a secure site.
I have reported this potential fraud to my bank Fraud Dept. -

I used to work for this company and can confirm that they are based in Barnstaple and take the card details from space bags (spacesystems)they take the orders for spacebags as well and just transfer the customers details to the freetime database, they are not based in spain and force their staff to lie or be sacked, the whole operation is illegal and immoral

I ordered some space bags from the internet and "the original Space systems Ltd passed all my details including my card information on to this company Free Time that looks like a time share type of fraud.I tried on several occasions to contact this number to cancel the membership they claimed I had with them and that they were going to charge my card £99.99 for. I phoned space systems and found out they are run alaong side this other company and that my details had been given to them they say I have been taken off their notes but I am sure my details have been passed on to others as I am now getting large amounts a mail and email from other doggy looking companies.I have stopped my card and notified the police, trading standards,Action fraud and ICO plaes do the same if this has happened to you lets stop them

I got the letter they will 99.99 after 30 days. The letter was dated back in the past and I got it in the post like nearly 2 weeks later. Plus sent by Royal Mail and they say based in Spain! Yeh right! I have reported to my bank to which they will take action if they take anything. I rang space bags and he just didn't say anything when I said to him you didn't pass my details to them you sold them and I said I ain't ringing that number it's premium and I didn't get no phone call so he said he will get me removed and no payment should go out! Let's see.

I also bought space bags in march this year. Just received my glossy brochure and letter from Free time, stating they will take £99.99 from my account. I did receive a phone call asking me if I was happy with the space bags, and that as a thankyou I would receive a booklet containing vouchers for money off every day products. If I didn't want to use it, I could just throw it in the bin. It looks very professional. Yes it is a SCAM. Yes it is FRAUD. I managed to contact my credit card company and told them all about it, they have put a block on paying anyone using the HomeShopping name for the stated amount of £99.99. I have emailed the spacebag company and told them exactly what I think of them for selling on my details and I am about to contact ActionFraud and report them.

Same here. I found a charge of £99.99 on my bank statement today... and yes, I too purchased space bags a while back. I do remember getting the review call telling me a brochure would be sent to me but to throw it away if I wasnt interested. I dont even remember recieving a brochure!! I will be contacting the bank today.. time for payment insurance to pay off!

Like every-one above I have been contacted by this number I have just received the Free Time brochure with the accompanying letter stating that they will be taking £99:99 from my account. Over My Dead Body! After much detective work I have discovered that it is indeed spacebags who are selling card details to free time holidays and despite freetime saying that they are based in Spain they are in fact based in the U.K. Spain is just a mailing address. This scam has to be stopped

my wife received a call from this number asking if she was happy with her purchase of space bags. she was then told that she would receive a catalogue and to put it in the bin if she wasn't interested (no mention of any holidays) today she received a brochure from FreeTime stating that an annual amount of 99.99 would be taken. I immediately smelt a rat and googled the company. After reading the comments I immediately rang our bank and reported FreeTime as a fraudulent company. They confirmed that no monies had been taken and immediately cancelled the card that was used to purchase the space bags. I would urge any other victims of this scam not to bother trying to contact FreeTime but to contact their bank immediately.PaulusTheWoodgnome replied 1/28/14, 3:18 PMIt appears it isn't Free Time who process the payment - it is Spacebags who have your card details. Its a slick scam - bin the brochure and agree to the £99.99 by default. Good thing I took it out and read it!! -

I am posting my comments on the company who own this number, not because they have been calling me but because they sent me a brochure for 30 days free trial on holidays. The enclosed letter stated that if I did not cancel within the 30 days £99.99 would be debited from my account for the annual membership.
When I was originally called regarding this I as told that they were sending this out to me and that if I didnt want it I could "put it in the bin". Fortunately I have been able to cancel but note many others were not so lucky.
Beware this illegal company - do not agree to let them send anything out to you......... -

CHECKING MY BANK STATEMENT I FOUND A DEBIT OF £99.99 FROM A FREE TIME CD. I RANG THE BANK WHO WERE VERY HELPFUL AND FOUND OUT THAT IT WAS FROM A PURCHASE I HAD MADE ABOUT A MONTH EARLIER. AFTER I PUT THE PHONE DOWN AND GOOGLED THE NUMBER I FOUND THIS WEBSITE. I TOO MADE A PURCHASE OF SPACE BAGS AND REMEMBER RECEIVING THE PHONE CALL AND THE HOLIDAY BROCHURE BUT CAN'T RECALL ANY MENTION OF A CHARGE IF I DIDN'T DECLINE THE OFFER OF THEIR SERVICES....WHAT A SCAM. TIME & MONEY SPENT GETTING THE REFUND SORTED. THANKS TO ALL WHO HAVE TAKEN THE TIME TO POST THEIR EXPERIENCE AS I WOULD NEVER HAD ASSOCIATED THE THESE.

My mother-in-law has just found a charge for £99.99 on her Barclays statement. I've just spoken to the bank and they have been 100% helpful and have agreed to refund her ASAP.
When mum-in-law initialy went into the bank to query the transaction they told her that it was a holiday company and assisted her to call them. The company told her that they take the view that unless you specifically say otherwise they assume that you want thier services, even though the in-laws had no knowledge of the company. The strange thing is that when I spoke to the bank they informed me that as far as they were aware Free Time is a UK based home appliance supplier, not a holiday company. In any case it is unlawful to debit your account without your knowledge and / or consent.
Everyone who has any dealings with this company should report that matter to the Police via Action Fraud (www.actionfraud.org.uk). Don't bother trying to report it direct to your local police as they will just refer you back to Action fraud. It's not a cop out on thier part, Action Fraud has been set up by government to take over responsibility of fraud reporting from the police, So save time and go straight to action fraud.Josie replied 8/5/13, 2:42 PMI have just reported this company to action fraud, £99.99 was taken from my

Only know the number because I was randomly charged £99.99 !! Which is the first random I've ever encountered while Internet /phone shopping I did receive a random info booklet on holidays a few months / lots of weeks before anyway this number was attached to the payment from my account the only thing I can suggest is to report the company to whomever and to contact your bank stating that a fraudulent company has your card details if you do recieve a catalog from them. Saying that there was no other warning other than the catalog that I recieved I did not the comment of the previous review for this number sating that the company would charge £100 for the year! And that they had details of there card . I feel obliged to shAre my recent purchase history which is play.com /amazon.com/ebay via PayPal / and a one off of spacebag which to be honest is looking more likely than any of the previous as I was called afterwards for a review of my purchase (I'm not one to opt yes for contact details or especially 3rd party contact.

This number is from a holiday membership company called FREE TIME where you pay an anual fee for holiday discounts. The company work out of Marbella Spain.I only know cause wife got a brochure through saying that she had agreed to become a member when she had a mail order purchase and that they had card details and they were going to take out £100. She never agreed to any thing so I'm just waiting if they take money out.I cant see that as she has never answered any phone calls from them. See if you can get a block on it.

Like everyone above we bought the space bags after seeing them advertised on TV. We paid for them and didn't think about them again until today when they took £99.99 out of our bank account with no warning, no brochure, no anything really. It's a scam and I would tell everyone you know to avoid this product at all costs. We're lucky enough to have been able to get our money refunded but I'm sure that's not the case for everyone.
