answered this caller 7pm tues 25.08 2015 got a female robot voice telling me I worked in heavy industry etc etc. I told the voice to go away bluntly and put phone down.

Today's ruse as had differing reasons for calls from these scammers fishing for personnel details!-Is hearing compo co.Never worked I this industry/make claims/or do business on phone! They obtain & MIS use my ex directory/TPS registered no.illegally! & obviously their press no.9 opt out option is a conn to-as pressed loads b4-Shut these bas#ards down! Prosecute to hilt!

A review elsewhere says the caller is "MCPC Checkpoint Claims". The most likely company to be doing this is Check Point Claims Ltd; their address is Glenfield Park Business Centre, Blakewater Road, Blackburn BB1 5QH - telephone 01254 865930.
Previously trading from an address in Birmingham, which still comes up in some searches. Ignore it, they've moved. One director only since April 2014 : Hassim Iqbal, 32, British. Previous directors were Sohail Hussain (7 months to Feb 2012) and Ghaffar Hussain (3 years to Sep 2014). There's a profile on LinkedIn of a Mr. Nadeem who is a Supervisor at Check Point Claims. He says : "we deal with many issues such as, Personal Injury, Noise Induced Hearing Loss, Accidents at work etc". So it's extremely likely to be this company making these calls, which - because they are automated, unsolicited and persistent - fall foul of new Government rules. The company has a licence to operate in the field of Personal Injury claims, and if it were to lose its licence for misconduct ...
