This number called but didn't leave a message. I'm on TPS so shouldn't be getting these nuisance calls. We need proper legislation to stop cold calling from commercial companies. Crime Stoppers refuse to take such info as it's not seen as a crime but it should be.

Called me today. I am also TPS. This number is only used for ITV competitions and Sky. Everytime I enter an ITV competition I start getting loads of these calls. Any one else suspect ITV's competition handler in Derby is selling contact details??? I think they see people who enter comps as desperate and stupid. I'm not stupid. I just want to win a million to get out of the UK!!!

Received a call from this number but as I answered they hung up - I was expecting an engineer to call so called the number back thinking it might be the engineer but instead got a automated voice asking about accidents. A scam to get you to call a premium number.

Premium rate - don't return call. Ignores the fact that you are registered with the TPS so unscrupulous at the very least.
Martin Goold replied 10/25/15, 9:30 AMSame here. They phoned at 09:05 on Sunday morning. It rang twice then cut off. Probably one of those automatic multi-dial jobs. We are also on TPS, but this is toothless. A real watchdog would monitor activity from this number. -

This is a premium rate call scam. 0844 number series is reserved in UK for premium rate #. When you call back, the scammers keep you on hold to let the meter run. You would find a larger than usual charge on your phone bill! Take care in future!
