It is NOT 02 it is Phones 4 U calling as you are near/or due an upgrade. Email Phones 4 U and ask to be removed from the marketing database - this worked for me.

Not actually O2 but a company making it sound like they are from O2, they are just trying to get you to upgrade. Tell them you will call 202 from your handset and upgrade with a O2 representative directly and not to an unknown number

Called me while I was abroad. I rejected the call. Assuming it was O2 trying to sell me a new telephone contract, like the previous people reported, then it's quite shocking to think I would have had to pay O2 for the dubious privilege of receiving an unsolicited telephone call from them offering to sell me something. :-(

Had this number calling me every day about the same time for the last few days. Each time I have been unable to get to my phone on time, but I finally did a quick search and I wouldn't trust it (or any other number of the likes)
I am due for an O2 upgrade in a few weeks, so I assume from previous comments that this is the reason why they are trying to contact me. -

I was due an upgrade - O2 called from this number - I am very glad they did because I received an excellent tariff plus iphione. Went to collect from O2 shop and staff were astounded at what I had been given - yes it was all there in black and white !
So if you need upgrade - then take time to take the call. -

Calls almost daily but doesn't leave any message to my answer phone. Very annoying behavior.
Anyone who has actual business with me leaves a message to call back;
I am on O2 so the number may be O2 telemarketer indeed.

Claim to be O2 wanting to offer an upgrade.....yet I'm not intitled to an upgrade. Asked for contact number for account holder. Told them they have it as the account holder has 3 contacts with them. He claims they don't have any numbers but my one
