Constant calls hoping you will pick up. Its a Scam as the Halifax nd Bank of Scotland do not use 0845 numbers any loner so if you do not recognise the number, do not answer it!!!

I think this was a fraud check call from 'Bank of Scotland' that I answered and was then transferred to the 'customer service dept' which wasn't answered promptly. I hung up, but this resulted in a 27p charge for me. Not a lot, but a good scam if you manage it for a lot of people!

Asked for me by name.Stated my Halifax
account had been used on line and asked me to call the above number. This recorded message was received yesterday and today.Halifax no longer use 0845 numbers. -
Caller said that he is calling from the Bank of Scotland and irregularities on my account was. So he did not say that he was from Bank of Scotland, but said "I'm from their bank" and I then asked "by the Bank of Scotland?". He wanted expression Account data that I did not want to give him, so he hung up.
If this phone number keeps calling you, the answer should be yes!
