   Automated IVR system called me on a number currently listed with the UK Telephone Preference Service, which is checked by reputable marketing companies to ensure they don't try to contact "opted out" numbers.
   
   Hence, caller is completely untrustworthy and highly disreputable.

   Debt consolidation telemarketing, breaching TPS. If you are worried about debt, speak to Citizen's Advice, not a private company who are going to make a profit from your situation.

   I let the call go to voicemail, there were a few seconds of silence then a hang-up. This was repeated again maybe 10 mins later.
   
   My mobile is TPS registered - they seem to be breaking the law.

   I had the phone (a company mobile) in my hand when this number rang. I answered the call with my company greeting and was met by silence for five seconds, then the line went dead. The number does not appear to accept incoming calls.
   
   This mobile is registered with the TPS, and the number from which I was called is not associated with any of my clients. I suspect they hung up on me because they realised that it was not a personal 'phone.
   
   Extremely untrustworthy.
