09040490088 DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER!! The Child Benefit number is 0845 3021 444 - I Called it thinking it WAS the number for child benefit and it was incorrect. Cost me £1.53 each time I tried and I had to try twice to get the number right as it wasn't clear 1st time round. DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER. It will charge you silly amounts. Just got my bill through and now googled it...complete scam from what I can see. Child Benefit number is 0845 3021 444 (even then this number is costly, as are all the benefit numbers!)
