Guy called from a call center saying he was from bt and he was working on the server side and that my laptop had downloaded a malware virus, I asked where about he was calling from and he said the server room and asked me to log on to my computer. I told him I don't have a computer and to tell me from which company he was from- he hung up. - I suspect that this is a company that make u upload viruses onto the computer.

I've been having a few problems with my internet but at the moment, they are resolved. This number called me a couple of days after my last call to BT, didn't give the company name but said (when asked why they were calling) that they worked on behalf of a number of comapnies including BT, Virgin etc; gave the reason for his call as due to there being "some problems in my area". Didn't make any specific reference to my recent complaint to BT. When I said I was currently problem-free, he hung up. Dodgy as...

Called saying he was from "a company" representing BT/Sky.
I stopped him mid speech and told him we were registered with TPS and he shouldn't be calling our number. He replied "oh my God" and hung up.
Mention TPS - has worked to stop repeat calls for us, but not new ones, sadly. -

had a few calls but never answered as showing 0919 number. from previous comments i see this is another harassment number even though i am x directory so where do they get your number.

Sounded dodge from the start, didnt give company name or his name. He asked if i every had a slow internet speed, i said no, he hung up....

I had this caller tell me I was downloading corrupted files and my computer was full of viruses. I told them I didn't want any help and the hung up. Glad I didn't give any details.

Got a call from this number. The caller was silent on the other end. However I could hear ambient noise in the background. Sounded like the person was calling from a call centre. They hung up without saying a word.
