Had a call from this number and a guy with a soft American voice was asking for details of my building society account with Nationwide, I hung up and said I do not answer any question over the phone! Whether's its a scam or not I don't know but I never given permission to Nationwide to give out my number anyway!!

Lots of calls from this number over 2 weeks. If u ring back from a different landline number they capture that too and pass on to an overseas scam call centre. Shame on you Nationwide for passing on details after I opted out of marketing

This number is calling us every day. When I answer, they ask for a person who I know has not been at this address or number for at least 10 years, and when I'm half way through saying "I'm sorry, you have the wrong number" they hang up. Rude, unprofessional, and annoying. We are TPS listed. I'm going to try to call Nunwood Consulting when they are open in the morning.

Got a call from this number wishing to speak to my son. caller said they were from his Building Society. when I asked which BS this was the caller said she could not reveal that. I terminated the call but I am disappointed in Nationwide. Callers MUST identify themselves.

I was waiting for an important call and a call from this number called. They wanted to speak to my husband regarding his building society account. When I asked which building society she would not say! I think we have had calls from this number before. We are registered with TPS but it seems they can ignore the rules.
SMH replied 10/1/15, 12:31 PMAs TPS registration only prevents marketing calls, organisations will still be able to call you for the purposes of genuine market research -

Had a call from this number yesterday asking for my son, who moved out over a year ago. Asked them who it was, they said "it's his building society". I asked them which one, they said "we're calling on behalf of his building society". When I asked which one, again, they said "it's a survey", so I hung up. They rang again this morning but hung up as soon as I answered.

Have been called by this number 01793888585 many, many times this week. Have not answered but still feel hassled. What can be done about these nuisance calls? I am registered with TPS but they seem to have limited sanctions. It really is time that the government stepped in to stop companies making unsolicited calls. I also would like to know where they get their telephone numbers.

This is a company employed by Nationwide Building Society. Just left the Nationwide then expect a call! Spoke to Nationwide and they reacted quickly, admitted it was likely from them, emailed the company to remove my details (activated within 3-5 days). The caller initially wanted to speak to my wife and said they were from the building society, when I asked who they were and for which building society they hung up. The bigger concern is that it appears that my personal data has been given by somebody to this marketing agency despite opting out of marketing calls. I'd expect the Nationwide to be working with a more professional company than this - just shows my decision to leave was the right one! It's amazing what can be achieved when you mention the Information Commissioner's Office!

The caller asked for my husband (but called my mobile no.), when I asked who it was, he said he was calling for N-power for a survey. When I questioned him further (we have never used N-power), he got uncomfortable, apologised and ended the call.

I've had two missed calls form this number today.. I am not going to answer, the same as I do with all other unknown numbers.
On reading others comments I believe this amy also be to do with Nationwide Building Society as I had to call them yesterday and strangely enough received two calls from this number today.
If they persist I will be contacting Nationwide as I am currently in the USA and definately dont want to incur any overseas costs from their persisting calls. -

Molly Bright called my partner as kept pressing him for his time and then when he demanded our number is removed she promised it would be and two days later a Chris called and did exactly the same. I complained to our direct bournemouth branch and they'd notified us that they'd never given our details out! The main Nunwood agency was as much use as a chocolate kettle, I also spoke to a manager in the main call centre they are making these reached calls from and he sounded as intelligent as a gold fish so anybody having the bravery honour to take part in these surveys contact NBS straight after!

Had a call from this number asking for my daughter by her maiden name, she has been married for nearly 10 years. Only last week she closed an old Nationwide account in her maiden name, so by co-incidence I am guessing this has something to do with the Nationwide.

they called said mrs and then miss i said yes and she goes "oh" and phone gets cut off. when dialing the number back its says you come through some amrketing company if you want a call please leave a messgae.....was going to leave a rude abusive message then i realised its a waste of my precious oxygen...

I dialled Nunwood Consulting's London number to complain, after a caller talking about "building societies" cut me off when I tried to complain about cold-calling. I got through to people with Yorkshire accents (probably their other Leeds office). They put me through to a helpful lady in charge of the building society market research team. I told her my number, the name being called in my household and the call time. She agreed to remove that name from the list (they do not have to check the Telephone Preference Service for market research). She also agreed to replay the phone call recording and said the behaviour of the caller was totally wrong and he would be reprimanded.

Had a call from 01793 888585 but had call screening in place, so the call was blocked. Looked up the number on Google - it is Nunwood Consultancy. Contacted Nationwide head office - they confirmed Nunwood is a 3rd party employed by them for surveys. I have already opted out of marketing via Nationwide, and expressivley told them not to share my details with 3rd parties. Head office told me that surveys are not part of the initial opt out process. I said there should be an option to opt out of surveys too. Told I would not be contacted again, which is good, but my details have already been shared. Dissapointed with Nationwide in this respect.
