They called me today to tell me that they're ringing from EE and that as a valued customer they've added some free packages to my account, but to explain what they are they needed security details from me. They asked for my full name, and I stopped them there, to tell them that if they're calling me from EE they should have my full details, and I won't give out any data over the phone unless I've called EE purposefully. They hastily finished the call.
LINZ replied 8/30/17, 4:15 PMI had exactly the same today as missed 3 calls today from them.
free package, asked for full name, I declined, she was fairly surprised, I hung up! -

Over ten missed calls in an hour from this number. When I finally answered they claimed to be EE talking to me about my contract and how it was up. I know this to be untrue and when I asked them to stop calling they persisted. Total SCAM!!

Claimed to be calling from EE, and they wanted to discuss offers. She asked for 2 letters from my password to confirm my identify, I wasn't comfortable giving this away to a random caller, and when I refused to give this away she said she could ask me another security question. She asked the amount of my last bill, and I told her I couldn't recall exactly. She said this wasn't a problem and she could go through the offers with me anyway. (Great security procedures whoever you are).
She then asked what sort of handset I had, and at that point it was pretty clear she was nothing to do with EE, because if 6S isn't on my account record then I'm very concerned about their record-keeping. I would avoid this company as they are pretty clearly trying to sell something, and they are not who they claim to be.Joolz replied 8/2/16, 6:10 PMI've just had a missed call from this number. Called it back after reading this and suggested it was a scam. Was told 'I have better things to do with my time than pretend to work for EE.'
He then sent me a text from EE with his name followed by a x...never been kissed by EE before!
Said I was looking to upgrade (Dec) he then asked if I had any other contracts with EE. I have 4, 3 of which are my sons to which he asked would everyone like an upgrade...son has only just upgraded!
Def something not right here as he was very quick to get off the phone after my comments. -

They have been calling me for half a year non stop. If I see the number now I do not even answer anymore. If you do not phone them up yourself to stop calling they will keep contacting you twice a day untill ETERNITY!!!!!!!!!!!

I got a call from this number saying they had spoken to my son, (I pay his mobile phone)and that he had agreed to take a tablet for £15/month. It turns out that he hadn't and after a call to EE, I found out that these people are falsely selling items. So be aware people.

Called and asked for my password regarding current phone contract. Persistence followed when I mentioned I didn't trust the caller.
The caller claimed they could lower the cost of my plan and inferred that they thought I was getting ripped off with my current price plan.
Arrogant and aggressive salesmanship, at an awkward time (20:00 on a Tuesday night) -

If I wanted to upgrade I would call EE. Plus even though THEY rang ME they asked for my personal details to confirm they were talking to the account holder but then got funny when I asked them to prove that they were in fact EE before she hung up on me!! Ha ha. Play their game. Don't pass them any information confirming your details and the won't take the call any further!!

Had a few calls from this number in the past and was hard selling me a new contract i wasnt interested in. The same person then phoned me every day for two weeks with the same speech. Then it stopped when i think they finally got the message. received another call today :/

This might well be EE calling but they never leave a message and are calling me several times a day, I have blocked their number now but it keeps going to voicemail where the only message is background call centre noise, but it is really annoying me now.

Just EE, like other brands, calling to try and gain more business from existing customers. Polite and asked relevant questions and had account details. Gained agents email address which was @ee.co.uk and got a reply so I'm sure it is them. No issues with them

trying to sell me contracts that I didn't need and telling me about tarrifs, already took out my back £30 a month without telling me apparently for a phone bill when i'm on a fixed contract

EE phoned and after checking this site I called them back to be offered discounts and promotions, asking details about what ipad etc we had so ended call as too many questions as I felt they were trying to sell me something. Lot of background noise so sounded like a call centre.

Called me, i said i was at work. The seemed to have copied down the script EE telesales use but EE always let you go if you say you're at work. She wouldnt let me go. Andorid said the company was called "Thame", it would normally say EE. Definite trap. Was fairly convincing though. Always remember, EE have your payment details they will not ask for them ever again. So never give them over the phone to someone who calls you.
