Called my wife on a TPS registered business phone number.
I called back and they refused to provider their legal name (Accident Expert Law does not exist on Companies House).
If you receive a call from this company, report it and make a complaint to their service provider Gamma Telecom on 0333 014 0000clive replied 10/20/15, 1:06 PMi have just reported this but its not easy to get through to the correct person.
it would be better if they could be traced somehow because I assume they will just set up another number somewhere. They are scum -

Called about my accident. When I asked if if was the one with the BMW (Made it up) they said yes so continued to give false information. At end of the call I fessed up as had watch this number call sequential numbers within my company (IT Manager) must of wasted 10 mins of there time. Was quite amusing really

Hi there, I got a call from this number but did not answer since I got a call from a similar London number a few days ago, and all they wanted was "to update some personal details". As I questioned what they meant, they hung up. I have since then googled that company and found out that they provide phone lead verification services. I suspect the company from this number does the same: they call you with a random excuse (the accident) and when you answer the phone you demonstrate that your number is live. Game done, they can now add your phone number to a list of 'live numbers' that can be sold as leads to telemarketers and who else. Best thing to do is not to answer the phone. The moment you answer, you've given them what they need, it does not matter how witty you have been over the phone.

Young girl calling my mobile number to confirm details of my non existent accident. My number has been registered with TPS for over two years and I've had no unsolicited calls until the last couple of weeks. I'm sure it's related to the TalkTalk hacking, I'm an former customer (they keep former customers details!)

Received call today on this number. Was told by a young girl that her accident database report says I had an accident in the last 2 years. I asked more details about nature of company and phone call and an Asian guy took over the conversation, very rude, shouting and asking for details of my car claim. Said I wasn't going to provide details and hung up. Sounded very dodgy. Do not deal with this company.

Got a call from this number again. Didnt answer it as had already had a call from same number saying i had accident and was entitled to money. Played along for a bit then said to them "I need to inform you that this call is being recorded", didnt get any further the phoneline went dead.

I played along and said yes, I was in an accident. Explained I'd been drink driving and killed 3 people but enquired if they could get me damages for the broken windscreen where a person had come through. They hung up. -

Young girl rang saying that they had been informed that I had had an accident recently. I didn't answer the question and left the line quiet. She then asked if anyone was there and I said, yes but the line seemed to have been an automated line for one moment. She quickly replied 'ok, I will take you off of our mailing system' and put the phone down.

Received a call from a lady on this number supposedly representing Accident Expert Law and saying that she needed to talk to me about an accident I had recently been in. When I asked her who she was and how she had my details she hung up. I have since blocked this number.

Get at least 3 calls a day from these idiots, who hang up when i answer and if i'm lucky i may get a female who informs me about the accident i just had, when i inform her that i've had no accident, she hangs up. Now when they ring i just tell them to f**koff.

He said very good we can sort out both cars. I told him I don't drive anymore as I've had a helicopter pad built on top of my building. I could not refrain from laughing at this point...He hung up...
