This Indian sounding gentleman says he works for the Ministry of Justice in London & is the senior accounts manager working with a company called money saving expert to recover PPI insurances on loans & mortgages. For an up front cash fee(£290 or £615) payable via Western Union, to India, he will arrange transfer of funds to you which amount to 10's of thousands of pounds. Once the cash fee is paid another Indian sounding gentleman phones to get the Western Union transfer number(MCTN)& tells you everything is ok. Next day another Indian sounding gentleman, called Nick, phones to say there is a problem & taxes, legal fees, banking fees &/or processing fees need to be paid to release this large sum of money you are owed. Once you've fallen for the fisrt part & have sent them money they call at least 6 times a day trying to get more money, always on the promise that the last payment has been lost or the cost of the transfer to you is more than before & always with the promise that this large cash sum is owed to you & waiting to be transfered. They are persistant, organised & ruthless in the pursuit of your hard earned money. Don't fall for it, they are low life scammers who would happily take your last pound & leave you broke before moving onto the next victim!
