got a call from them and they couldn't even tell me where they were or which 'client' they worked for. Said something about security....then why did they give out their company name (based in Manchester) - Best Debt Help, after trying to press for more information they hung-up!

I’ve just had a call from this number. I get this type of thing every few days from other numbers. Everyone should just stop answering and making 0845 calls, then perhaps then the Telco’s who make money out of this sort of thing may actually do something about scam calls.

This number rings me often and it is nuisance call. When I have answered I think it is PPI - tend to ignore now. They never leave a message. I like to leave my personal mobile on at work for emergencies but can't do that anymore as I get too many calls interupting.

Some company with a recorded message about whiping off debt, I have no idea how they got my details seeing as I am not listed in the phonebook etc.
Their was an option to remove from their list by pressing 9 so I have done so. I will have to wait and see if it is the case. -

Some company phoned me from this number 0843 289 0053 but I left go to voice mail and I phoned them back afterwards.
It was a companies saying I hve opted somewhere to receive information about their products and etc. I just hang up the phone, I don't even know if I gonna be charged by this call because I used my mobile.

Keep getting called by this, get a recorded message saying that I need to listen carefully...etc etc, its regarding PPI claim. very annoying been happening for a couple of months, who the heck are these people, I hang up and never listen to the full message, others have said the message tells them to "press 5" to speak to an advisor and then they're charged, some have said its a gambling things, other one said they've got throught to a real person and told that person to take them off the calling list and the "advisor" hung up on them!!
