These people keep calling me even though my number is brand new and ex-directory. I just ignore the calls now, but they are calling several times a week and it is harassing, stressful and disturbing.

They won't confirm their address. They are cold calling. They just want your details in order to scam you. It is disgusting nothing can be done as they are abroad. I just feel so sorry for the elderly and vulnerable people that they call.

Call tonight at 20:15 hrs, when I answered the call there was no reply for 3 seconds then they hung up. Totally annoying when you answer a call and there is no reply.

Had a call from this number. He said it was Accident Advice Service. I asked for his address but all he could tell me was it was in Manchester. He couldn't tell me more until he had verified my identity. He said the call was in relation to a car accident some time ago which wasn't my fault. (I did have a minor accident). I said I couldn't drive so the accident couldn't have happened. He then said it was any accident for instance did I fall over. I said I did quite often as I drunk a lot. He asked if it was the fault of a third party. I said I blamed the brewers. He got the message at that point and rung off.

Unfortunately an overseas call so there is nothing TPS can do about it.

Called 'in regard to your accident', wouldn't say what accident, who had reported it. Suggested that if it wasn't my accident, it could have been a family member.
Wouldn't tell me their number (though 1471 worked) and didn't seem to know my name.

Got call from this number 3Dec 18:30 but didn't pick up but expect as above a SCAM.
