I received two messages from this number on WhatsApp pretending to be Facebook. The account has vague business information. The messages appeared to be a verification code, this is a clear scam attempt. Do not share any codes or click on any links they send, especially clicking on the button "I didn't request a code" as that would make you vulnerable, meaning to them that: your number is active; you read messages; you’re willing to interact. They might try to message you again, or add your number to more scam lists. I highly recommend blocking and reporting the number.

I didn't receive any calls from this number, however I did receive a few Whatsapp messages telling me that a code had been requested to log into my FaceBook account. I noticed that they will send three messages within a ten minute timeframe, prompting you to interact with their messages. As I have a Thai phone number, their messages were written in Thai and had two options actions underneath their messages to either copy the code into your clipboard or to say that you didn't request a code in the first place. Their Whatsapp profile has a blue checkmark and was registered in 2023 as a business profile. This is designed to throw off unsuspecting people as this all makes the account look more legit.
