   Asian chap said my computer was sending virus error messages to them (impossible), so I feigned ignorance and followed his instructions in order to understand the scam. He was aiming to get me to download teamviewer software. That would enable him to access my computer and steal my info, or install a virus which he would then charge lots of money to fix.

   These people called me telling me they were Technical computer company and they had spotted some issues with my computer. Little did they know that was my area of work. So I told them what I thought of them and hung up

   Phoned me today, as with everyone else said I was downloading strange things to my computer.
   
   When I informed him I had indeed been downloading images of his mother having sex with a horse he promptly hung up.

   Just had a call from this number.Asian chap saying my computer had a virus etc etc. I watched watchdog three weeks ago and a similar scam was on the programme. Quickly realised this was probably a similar carry on. Was sat in van waiting for young one coming out of school so played along for a few minutes before telling him i didnt have a computer to which he called me an effin barstool haha

   Same number called both the land lines in my house (one is business the other domestic) simultaneously - claimed to be from "BT Technical Department" and upon being challenged "Do you mean you are from British Telecom?" he said he was and that they'd been getting a lot of "warnings and reports on our server about malicious attacks on your computer." He said they'd sent several emails warning me of the problem and that because I hadn't replied they were calling. I asked for his number and he painstakingly gave me 0800 096 8241 (which I subsequently called back to hear a recorded message, in genuine BT-like voice saying 'We are no longer using this number"). Dialling 1471 gave me 0084 7258 3794.
   
   I don't have the patience or the time to wind these types of people up - though I'd very much like to do so sometime to waste their time, so I just told him he was a liar and that getting a proper job might be more fulfilling.

   Caller claimed to be a service engineer for Windows Computer. When I queried how he knew that I had a) a computer b) Windows, he hung up immediately.

   I'm a pensioner who uses an answerphone to edit out ****'* like these scam merchants. It's not a bad method.

    Saying he was calling about my windows computer etc.etc. I told him to remove my number from his database - he declined.

    I actually answered it today and was told by the caller that my home PC was giving out a virus and error messages. I pretended to cry like a baby and I screamed "OH NO!! WHAT HAVE I DONE??!! PLEASE HELP ME!" They promptly ended the call....shame. I've decided that from now on, every sales call I get i'm going to have fun with.

    Rang and said I had problems with my computer. I've had these sort of calls before and work in computing so I told them I was not interested in their scam. The same person rang back a few minutes later to try again. I told them I knew it was nonsense and untrue and told him to 'go away' (my actual words). The same person rang the following day to describe me (and my wife) using the F word and others several times. Not very polite.

    called to say they were going to mend my pc, so i told them i didn't have a problem he then got quite aggressive telling me that i should go and turn my computer on so i said i don't have one goodbye! they then called every day for 2 weeks then once a week now just had a call with just an automated voice saying goodbye
