they phoned and asked if i had been receiving hoax phone calls from microsoft and that my internet provider had told them that my internet service had been compromised.
THIS IS A SCAM as the only ones who had known about the hoax calls are those making them, so they were trying a different approach to try and trick me.
when i asked them to tell me my internet provider they hung up.
THIS IS A SCAM and anyone getting this type of call should hang up on them as microsoft don't call people up to tell them they have a problem nor does your internet provider when they can write to you and send an email.
