   I got bothered again by this number when I was busy (on July 17th.). This time it was a recorded message but I did not listen to what was being said. Then the line went dead and I got a dialling tone.

   have been harrassed by callers from this number for the last few days. its always a foreigner who apparently has an english name. have repeatedly been told to take me off their database ( as are potential scammers) and not call again ive had 3 calls today and they need to be stopped

   I have been receiving nuisance calls from this number recently (I have had similar numbers nuisance calling me too) , since I've moved home last year and got new landline number. This number called 5/4/17 at 9:44 am. It went to answer phone and surprisingly they left a message. I couldn't quite understand all that was said (spoke rather quickly and a bit of an accent) but she was very polite and said I could call them back at a more convenient time for myself (Yeah right! I'm not that stupid). Stuff like "retirement savings", "saving on bills" and did say the company name but could only catch the last bit "UK limited". Obviously a scam, just wish I'd stop getting nuisance calls.

   Asking for an unknown person and then wanted to update their records. My response resulted in the call being terminated by them!

   Polite - but asked for the 'wrong' person .. then continued the call anyway asking for my name (which i had already announced but refused to repeat)
   
   Asked him (wearily) to remove my number from hos list.

   They keep ringing my landland and asking for Mr or Mrs ##### I keep telling them I don't know them and they don't live her,but they still keep ringing, won't take no for an answer.

   I got another call from the same number on January 30th. but did not answer. Other sites show these people are still causing much resentment with their persistence and harrassment. By coincidence I got another "withheld" call the same day. Guessing who it was (because I recognised the crackling with which I was greeted on answering), I answered *Hello" loudly enough to split his (her?) eardrums. The person rang off without saying anything. I found it a satisfying way of dealing with these crooks.

    As I guessed, this "savings club" has attracted many complaints, though it appears not with Tellows so far. I was, of course, busy when the telephone rang. When asked whether I was Mr. Harper I said I was not. The person did not seem put off by this, but went on to introduce herself by saying she was from such-and-such savings club. She was continuing with her patter when I interrupted to say that if she wanted Mr. Harper she had got the wrong number, and that I had never heard of her club. She apologised and rang off, obviously realising she was not going to get anywhere with me. Incidentally, the calls from would-be computer hackers have started again, in a more sophistated way inasmuch as the number(s) they use are "withheld".
    The call I got came from someone claiming to be from Openreach - another new departure as previously they have claimed to be from Talk Talk. When they started telling me they had detected a serious problem....etc. ect.....I interrupted to say I had heard it all before - many times! The person obviously took the hint, and rang off.
