Called via a call centre (didn't sound like Leicester to me) claiming according to his system I had been involved in a road traffice accident and was entitled to £1000.
Of course this is not true and when I asked where he was calling from he hung up.

Have previously had about three missed calls from this number - just picked up the latest call and they informed me that I'd had a car accident at some point since July 2010 - I have never had a car accident, thank goodness. I asked them where they got this information from - they said they purchased these details from a company and had got them as I had registered the 'accident' but hadn't claimed anything. I told them this was completely inaccurate information. The person on the other end got rather aggressive asking me what I meant by that and did I have an accident or not - I refused to answer this question. They kept insisting that I was wrong and that there was money waiting for me to cover injuries and '...sore necks'....!
I told them to remove my details from their lists and said that I would be reporting them as a nuisance call...the gentleman on the other end was still trying to convince me that I had unclaimed money waiting for me as I hung up.
ANNOYING!!
