Man called trying to convince me of serious damp and mould issue in my loft, that the micro fibre insulation in my loft is a hazard and needs changing etc, etc. My loft is bone dry and well ventilated!

From some insulation company. Kept going on about my loft insulation could be damp and my house would be losing heat. I told him I was thinking of selling my house so I wouldn't be upgrading anything but it didn't stop him rabbiting on. Eventually put the phone down.
The beggars rang again this morning, I recognised the number so picked the phone up ta make them pay for the call then put it down. Their number is now blocked :-) -

Someone called Dan for the Home Insulation Company, said he was calling me back which is interesting since I had t called him. He was unable to give me any details as to who he thought he was calling and when pressed he hung up.

Cavity Wall Insulation Scam. Said some Cavity Wall Insulation was causing condensation and they could arrange a free survey. Very urgent tone to his voice... said "Quickly, are you the home owner?" I replied who is calling? and he hung up! what was the point of that?

We are on the TPS, so I dont appreciate receiving unsolicited calls like this.
When I challenged the caller about how he got my details, he tried to keep going with his sales pitch, but eventually hung up after I kept saying "where did you get my details".
I didn't get to the point of quoting TPS, but even if I did, it would have been a waste of time, they clearly dont care about breaking the law.

Call about loft insulation and purported to be from my local energy provider, but would not say who they were. Wanted to tell me my loft was damp. Fraudulent call no doubt wanting to start on the path of extracting money.
