Call to landline. Purporting to be from Adam, from Boots Optician, telling me that my eye examination was overdue (it wasn't, but I do go to Boots for this). I assured him that that was NOT the case and gave details of my last appointment. He then said "what about lenses". I told him that that had already been discussed at my appointment and I did NOT require contact lenses. He then said "What about others in the household"? At which point it became clear this was a cold call, trying to initiate a contract for contact lenses (or at least get my bank details). I think this was a total scam call, and nothing to do with Boots. I hung up and blocked the number.
