told caller that the man he asked for had not had my number for 7 years and could he removed my number from their records as he is now legally obliged to do. he replied (in a very feminine voice) if i asked nicely he'd consider it! i then told him to remove my number and hung up.
A few seconds later he then rang back and said "for being a prick i'm leaving it on!"

Found out it's a timeshare cold call based in Tenerife. What they actually do is speak as if they are talking to someone else saying I can't hear anyone on the other end of the line, eventually put the phone down and wait for the person to call them back, obviously at their own cost. So be warned and beware.
