Indian chap called this morning, after i got the phone from the wife, it took 5 seconds to suss it was a scam, so i went through the motions very slowly repeating each question eventually after a couple of minutes he gave up.
I am sure that they con many though -

Indian sounding accent. Says my time is running out on my Microsoft computer... Didn't know my name. Let him go on a bit and asked how he got my number, no answer, let him go on a bit, just to waste his time, then eventually told him that I was not on the internet at my home..... He put the phone down... All together now... Aaaaar

Had a call from this number from a gentleman (?) called John claiming to be from Microsoft. Asked me if i was the main user of the computer so i asked him which computer he would like to talk about. He said the computer i was using. Told him to identify the correct computer as he had reached the local police control room and there were 45 computers to choose from. Call ended.
