    Wouldn't tell me what call was about until I gave more information on our company which I refused to do. They said to our receptionist it was to do with BT, that it was 'sensitive' but wouldn't tell me more until I gave more details so I ended the call

    Definitely a CON!!!
    Called trying to claim we hadn't paid our music licence bill (Which we had).
    Asked for a person who left the company 3 years ago. Put the phone down as soon as I asked questions and suggested I put them through to our accounts department.

    Did not give reason for call to an ex-directory number. Would not say how they obtained the number or what the call was in connection with.

    This number claims to be a debt collection company called Oriel, they have tried to take money for a BT bill that doesn't exist.

    blocked number. called asking for John wood, were informed no one exists, promised to remove my name from their contact lists and not call again. since then have received numerous calls for the same name with a "debt account number". scam as I am not John Wood, and they refuse to stop calling. blocked.
